Our Beliefs
We believe God created the World into being in 6 days (Genesis 1:31)!
We believe Jesus died for our sins!
We believe Jesus rose from the dead and sits on the right hand of God (Romans 8:34)!
We believe the Bible is the infallible and inerrant Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16)!
We have Faith, that even though we have not seen God, Nor Jesus nor the Holy Spirit, that They exist inside of us (Colossians 2:9-11)!
We believe that with faith given to us by God (Romans 12:3),
We will read, pray, fellowship, and let the Holy Spirit control our Thoughts and decisions (2 Corinthians 2:5)!
We don't know how They work in our life.
We have faith with our works (James 2:14-19) that “They” work & still are at work in our lives!
We also know that we don't have to know how “They” do it (Isaiah 55:8-9)!
We know we can ask God questions (Luke 1:26-35),
but we can't question God (Luke 1:11-22)!
—————————————————————
We believe that the Bible is God’s Inspired Word. God still speaks to us today through the Holy Spirit. The writers were inspired by the Holy Spirit so we must be inspired by the Holy Spirit. We believe that when Christ died, He gave all those that accept and believe that Christ is the Son of God incarnate, access to the Holy Spirit and the Spiritual Realm. We volunteer, pray, study, and attend fellowship as Christ commanded us to do. We believe that He gave all of us “His” authority and charged us to be His witness and to make disciples of all nations. He left those, that accept Him as their Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit. We believe and know that people can see the Holy Spirit within born-again Christians by the “Fruit” given to us from the Holy Spirit. This is manifested by:
How we show “Love” to those we serve on a day-by-day basis.
Our “Joy” we have for Jesus and others more than ourselves.
The “Peace” we have in adverse difficult or dangerous situations.
Our “Patience” as we serve, pray, and minister to others.
The “Kindness” in our treating of others no matter their station in life.
The “Goodness” shown in our relationship with God and towards other people.
Our “Faithfulness” in ministering, serving, and attending day after day.
Our “Gentleness” in dealing with those who are going thru unpleasant things in their life.
Our “Self-Control” when in difficult situations or environments.
We believe we are commanded to prepare God’s people for His return. To explain to people that this time on earth is temporary and that God has a plan for all people. His plan is not to harm us but for our welfare and safety and for us to live an abundant life according to the good acceptable will of God.
